Episode 329: When to Add an Additional Worship Service

In Episode 329 of the NewChurches Q&A Podcast, Daniel and Ed discuss adding a second service and the pros and cons of different worship service times. Here is today’s question:

We are an 18 month old church plant that meets on Sunday evenings at 5 PM. We are experiencing growth, but not as consistently as I think we could. We have lost some young families because they want a morning service. We don’t want to abandon the community that we have built up at 5 PM, but we want to think about growing and adding a Sunday morning worship experience as well. How would you suggest someone to go about adding and expanding to an additional worship service?
