Episode 308: Planting Where Healthy Churches are Scarce

How do you cast a vision to those have never experienced a healthy church?

In Episode 308 of the NewChurches Q&A Podcast, Daniel and Todd discuss casting vision for church plants in areas where healthy churches are rare. Here’s Andrew with today’s question:

I’m originally from Maryland. A few years ago I sensed God calling me away from my career as a deputy sheriff and into ministry. My wife and I moved away to go to seminary. I’m almost done with seminary and God is burdened us to return home and plant a church. The problem is that there is no healthy churches back home. What tips would you give to cast a vision to people that desperately want a healthy church, but don’t bring any experience of a healthy church to the table?

In this episode, you’ll discover:

  • The opportunity of planting in areas that are unchurched or have only had unhealthy church plants.
  • How to develop a healthy core team.
